Kate Henwood to Lead Coaching Lineup of Girls Youth Clinic at 2015 10VE Event

The Kip Taviano 10VE Field Celebration Committee is pleased to announce there will be a Girls Youth Clinic at the 10VE Event to be held 5/30/2015 from 8:30 to 10am during the Celebration Event.

The Girls Youth Clinic will be held by current Head Coach of the UC Davis Aggies Women’s Lacrosse team, Kate Henwood, whose career highlights include:

• Top Assistant Coach at Villanova University from 2006-09. During her time at Villanova the team posted 19 wins after only having a combined nine wins over the previous four years.
• In 2010 she became the Head Coach at HS alma mater, Garnet Valley. During her first season as coach the team finished 11-8, but then posted back to back Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association championships in the ’11 and ’12 seasons, earning Henwood Coach of the Year in 2012.
• Most recently Henwood can be found on the sidelines of UC Davis where she is the Head Coach of the Aggies Women’s Lacrosse team. During her first year as Head Coach she led the team to be ranked the No. 5 offense in the nation.
