Turn-up for Kip

On May 28, 2013 Kip was suddenly and without warning taken from us.  An accident which ripped a hole in our hearts and our family will never be the same. The grief comes in waves and daily. We miss him dearly and always will. It has brought us to the realization that tomorrow is not guaranteed for any of us and that in an instant our lives can be forever changed. That we must all cherish every moment we have with those that we love.

Though with us for such a short time, it is clear that Kip touched many lives in a positive way. On the athletic fields, in the classroom, and beyond. The Concord Township, Brandywine Youth Club, The Haverford School, Garnet Valley, Furman University, and Lacrosse communities have all been touched by his presence and impacted by his loss. The outpouring of support from friends within those communities has been a great comfort to our family.

We look forward to seeing you!

Event Activities

To celebrate Kip's life and symbolize his permanent impact to our lacrosse community, Concord Township and the Brandywine Youth Club will name a lacrosse field in honor of Kip. The dedication will take place at the event.

Grades 1-6 Youth Clinic will be held in the morning with a focus on skill development and playing with passion.

A series of Youth and High School commemorative games will be held throughout late morning and early afternoon.

The day ends with an Alumni Commemorative Game where we invite any 2014 or older high school grad, current college player or older player to participate.

  • Turn-up for a day of celebration to remember Kip.
  • Turn-up for a day to share smiles, laughter, and fond memories.
  • Turn-up and celebrate the community and friendships that Kip forged.
  • Turn-up and celebrate all families within the communities that Kip touched.
  • Celebrate Kip's life with new and old friends, food, and fun. Bring your own lawn chair.

We cannot live only for ourselves.
A thousand fibers connect us with
our fellow men; and along these
fibers, as sympathetic threads, our
actions run as causes, and then
come back as effects.
